How is the rounding calculated?
We round the final cart total to the nearest $0.05. .x0–.x2 round down, .x3–.x7 round to .x5, .x8–.x9 round up to the next .x0.
Does it apply to card transactions too?
No. CashRound POS only rounds cash transactions. Card, gift card, and other non-cash tenders are charged the exact total with no rounding adjustment.
Will customers see the adjustment?
Yes. A clearly labeled "Cash Rounding Adjustment" line appears on the POS screen and the printed/emailed receipt.
Does CashRound POS store my order data?
No. The rounding logic runs inside the POS extension on the device. We don't store orders, customers, or analytics.
How do I uninstall?
From your Shopify admin → Apps → CashRound POS → Uninstall. The rounding adjustment will stop being applied immediately.
